Family Research Council Principal Loses Home in Louisiana Flooding

Family Study Council President Tony Perkins, who buys into the notion that natural disasters are God’s wrath against gay people, was forced to flee his abode by canoe after it was swamped by the floods that have been ravaging Louisiana.

Calling it a disaster of “near biblical proportion,” Perkins said on his group’s radio show that he is now living with his family in a camper.

“This is unlike anything we have seen before,” Perkins said. “In fact we had to flee from our house Saturday by canoe … We had about 10 feet of water at the end of our driveway. Our house flooded, a few of our cars flooded.”

Perkins asked his followers for prayers and spun what happened to him as proof that God considers them “worthy of suffering for His sake.”

"Use this as an incredible, encouraging spiritual exercise to take you to the next level in your amble with an almighty and gracious God who does all things well,” he said.

Last September, when Hurricane Joaquin was battering the Bahamas and threatening the nation's eastern seaboard, Perkins was singing a different tune.

Gay Lea Foods sends milk replacer to farms impacted by flooding in B.C.

Gay Lea Foods Co-operative Limited (“Gay Lea Foods”) announced today that it is donating 24,000 kg of premium milk replacer produced at its Grober Nutrition facility in Cambridge, Ontario, to support dairy farmers impacted by the grave flooding in British Columbia last week.

The load will be manufactured at Grober Nutrition (a 100 per cent Gay Lea Foods-owned subsidiary) and on the road by the terminate of the week. In collaboration with B.C.-based Dairy Crop Solutions, the product will be distributed to dairy farms in need.

The combined venture is expected to supply enough milk replacer to feed 400 calves for 60-70 days, an effort the businesses hope will help ease some of the agricultural supply issues in the impacted area, where feed and water for animals that survived the flooding remain a serious concern.

“This is one way we can use our capabilities at Gay Lea Foods to help support communities co-operatively,” says Rob Goodwill, Chair of Gay Lea Foods. “We thank everyone who helped make this possible and want everyone impacted by the devastating floods to know that Canadians stand behind them.”

UKIP councillor blames storms and floods on gay marriage

Mr Silvester, from Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, defected from the Tories in protest at Mr Cameron's support for same-sex unions.

In the letter to the Henley Standard he wrote: "The scriptures make it abundantly clear that a Christian nation that abandons its faith and acts opposite to the Gospel (and in naked breach of a coronation oath) will be beset by natural disasters such as storms, disease, pestilence and war."

He added: "I wrote to David Cameron in April 2012 to warn him that disasters would accompany the corridor of his lgbtq+ marriage bill.

"But he went ahead despite a 600,000-signature petition by concerned Christians and more than half of his own parliamentary party saying that he should not carry out so."

He then went to on criticize the prime minister for the lousy weather:

"It is his fault that large swathes of the nation include been afflicted by storms and floods."

He went on to say that no man, however forceful "can mess with Almighty God with impunity and receive away with it".

A UKIP spokeswoman said: "It is quite evident that this is not the party's

Years After Move To Higher Ground, Gays Mills Floods Again

The Village of Gays Mills in Crawford County, known for apple orchards and its stunning location on the Kickapoo River, is under water, along with huge stretches up and downstream.

At 7:30 a.m. Thursday, the National Weather Service reported major flooding in Gays Mills, and major flooding remains in the forecast.

But flooding isn’t new to Gays Mills. It was buffeted by raging liquid in 2007 and 2008.

In 2009, WUWM's Susan Bence visited the town when residents were considering whether it should pick up and move out of the floodplain.

Approximately half of Gays Mills homes within the floodplain had been, or were slated to be demolished or elevated to prevent another circular of destruction from flooding.

Plans were in motion to move the government center, including its village hall, library and chamber of commerce to higher ground.

Ritch Stevenson owns a sensor manufacturing company in town. He says by moving and improving its village center, Gays Mills had the unique opportunity to become a model rural community.

“That ties into the economic development work we’re doing here

LGBTQ Americans have caused the country billions of dollars in structural damage, killed dozens of people, and displaced thousands more from their homes, according to the evangelical figures who believe gay people caused Hurricane Harvey.

Despite overwhelming evidence that adverse weather and climate change had a hand to play in the storm that has devastated parts of Texas, numerous voices emerged that suggested the biblical proportions of the flood were, well, literally biblical.

Among those crying "science be damned" and waving their pitchforks in the general advice of the LGBT collective over the past week were minister Kevin Swanson, who believes the Bible preaches death to gays, and the similarly delightful radio host Rick Wiles, who thinks Ebola would be a handy way to wipe out the LGBT community.

Swanson said on his show: "Jesus sends the message home, unless Americans repent, unless Houston repents, unless New Orleans repents, they will all likewise perish."

"That is the message that the Lord Jesus Christ is sending home right now to America," he added, Advocatereported.

Wiles also observed, in comments carried by Right Wing Watch: "Here's a town that has boaste
