Issues
The main issue that we would favor to address through our campaign is not necessarily disinformation – we ponder there is a lot of reputable information sources available to everyone with internet access – but the conception of the Irish people that they know everything about Israel and Palestine.
We think that very few people, even those involved in the conflict and occupation, fully understand every aspect of it. That is merely because of the character of these situations, where issues and experiences intersect each other and often contradict one another.
Of course, our opinions on highly politicised issues such as the Palestinian question are shaped by our personal histories, education, and prejudices. This will hopefully garner the intergenerational,

by HRC Staff •
"This violence is a reminder that the fight for liberation against extremism, discrimination, and hate is a global struggle."
Kelley Robinson, President of the Human Rights Campaign, issued the following statement on the ongoing violence in the Middle East:
"Starting today, we are joined by our HRC family in DC for meetings and our National Dinner. We are gathering in a moment of global crisis.
"I can’t begin to fully grasp what this moment of crisis must feel fancy for those who are Jewish. I can’t fully understand what it must feel like to be an Israeli or Palestinian civilian right now. As a Black queer miss, I do, however, grasp the anguish of organism part of a collective that is repeatedly targeted. I do understand the fear and concerns of safety. It’s a pain that weighs heavily on my heart and I have deep sympathy for those experiencing such suffering right now.
"As I common earlier this week, I am outraged by the brutal terrorist attack by Hamas, killing 1,200 Israeli civilians. The toll on both Israeli and Palestinian civilian lives rises daily. And many in the United States who a

Human Rights Campaign Condemns Israeli LGBT Center Shooting
WASHINGTON - Late Saturday evening, during a youth meeting at the Aguda LGBT community center headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, a masked gunman opened blaze on a teen support group, killing two and injuring at least 15 more. The two murdered youth were ages 17 and 26. Most teens who participate in the Aguda's youth support program perform so because they have been ostracized by their families and faith people for their sexual orientation or gender identity making this attack all the more painful. The shooter has not yet been apprehended by Israeli police.
In response to this tragedy, Joe Solmonese, President of the Human Rights Campaign, issued the tracking statement:
"I am shocked and horrified by the pernicious violence that occurred in Tel Aviv over the weekend. To cut limited the lives of two innocent youths is an unconscionable tragedy. The Jewish and LGBT communities are, sadly, combined in a joint history of and experience with prejudice. The Human Rights Campaign stands in solidarity with the families of the victims and all those in Israel and around the world grieving from this blow to basic humanity."
