Despite a lot of people complaining about the game’s clustered plot. What makes FFXV so remarkable and heart wrenching was we get to spot the main characters grow.

We get to see them from such a juvenile age, specially Noctis (brotherhood, platinum demo and king’s tale) facing trauma, trying to live his experience as a normal kid, as normal as it can be and growing older to teen and young adult then packed fledge adult, accepting his fate and responsibilty as king.

This is a shadow up to the Final Fantasy XV review I co-wrote a little while back, only with plot details and spoilers all the way down. This is your warning: if you haven’t finished the game, perform not read this. I will be critiquing and analysing absolutely everything, and by the conclude, you’ll know the plot and its flaws inside out.

I’d also like to add a disclaimer or two: I am not saying people cannot enjoy this game. I’m not doing this to blindly hate on a popular franchise, and yes, I do know what I’m talking about, because Creative Writing was my degree subject. And no, I’m not a game dev, I’ve been a scribe for the past eight years, and I’ve picked up a few things. Anyway, onwards.

This is a hard, downcast article for me to write. Prior to this game’s release, I was FFXV’s loud and vocal champion. I had every faith that the devs were going to deliver and deliver hard. The marketing was so enthusiastic, and every time an Active Time Report (ATR) or promotional video came up, you could see just how much cherish there was for this project. I don’t think it’s unfair to say that the last generation caused a great deal of mistrust from fans of the FINAL FANTASY series. Despite initial critical acclaim, the general reception to FINAL FANTASY XIII was mixed and the original 2010 release of FINAL FANTASY XIV was such a disaster that they spent three years working on a reboot just to set things right. It didn’t help that the PlayStation 3 title everyone was excited for, FINAL FANTASY Versus XIII, was eventually cancelled for its have mess of reasons.

With that said, I’ve felt enjoy the series have been on a steady pace back to its once masterful status. I worshipped FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn and its first expansion pack Heavensward more than I’ve enjoyed any MMORPG before or after and with Versus XIII being reborn as FINAL FANTASY XV with a more focused and open development team my fingers were crossed that FINAL FANTASY could reclaim the title as king of singleplayer RPGs once more.

Why FF15´s story and cast turned out to be so bad?
So the movie far from perfect but still has an engaging story of epic proportions and an great cast while FF15 received a weirdo cast and a nonexistant story. What happened? Did they use the main story in favour for the movie and left FF15 back with some k-pop infants cruisin´ around in World of Warcraft?

Any chance that future ff´s will be better?

Hello everyone!

After re-watching my favorite bits of FFXV,  most if not all of which involve Prompto and/or Noctis, I began to notice something regarding aforementioned sunshine child. (Prompto. I’m talking about Prompto. Noctis being a sunshine child?)

In a lot of my favorite scenes involving Prompto (and Noctis), there were clues that  reinforced a theory I was already forming in my mind: Prompto having a infatuation on Noctis.

Now, now. Just in case some people are already typing, “But Cindy though???” or “Lmao Noctis likes Luna you idiot, what the heck are you talking about?” or “Ewww, why do you always try to make everyone gay??? He’s not male lover. I’m a homophobe ewwww -”

Rest assured I’ll explain. Just, rest those fingers and let me, ‘kay? ‘Kay. Maintain in mind this post DOES hold spoilers, so if you haven’t played the game or watched the anime… don’t say I didn’t warn ya!
