Debbie Harry of Blondie fame has revealed publicly that she is bisexual.

She known past relationships with women in a new interview, according to the Mail Online.

Harry was asked if rumors of her having affairs with other women were true and she replied: ‘Yeah.’

Good for her!

She then added: ‘Let’s state women are more sensual.’

Harry does not name any of the women she has been involved with and said most of her long-term relationships possess been with men including the 16 years she spent with fellow band member Chris Stein.

Blondie, of course, scored a string of hits in the mid-70s and early 80s including Heart of Glass, Tide is High, Rapture, Call Me, and One Way or Another, among others.

Harry, 68, rejected an invitation to perform at the Sochi Olympics in February because of host Russia’s anti-gay propaganda law.

‘Why make such a massive thing out of a personal choice or a natural instinct? It seems barbaric and idiotic,’ she said.

She's the 70s sex symbol whose image adorned the bedroom walls of millions of teenage boys around the world. But Blondie singer Debbie Harry has now revealed that some of her hold most satisfying sexual encounters were with women.

The chart-topping celebrity, now 68, admitted that she was bisexual.  When asked whether long-standing rumours of her affairs with girls were true, she said, ‘Yeah,’ adding: ‘Let’s say women are more sensual.’

Harry, who enjoyed a long-term relationship with fellow band member Chris Stein, did not name any of her female lovers. She also insisted that her most enduring relationships had been with men and that she longed to tumble in love again.

American rocker Debbie Harry has revealed she's bisexual.

The Blondie celebrity has often been quizzed about her sexuality and in a new interview she reveals she has had relationships with both men and women.

She's told the Britain's Daily Mail she doesn't really acquire a preference, but admits she finds women "more sensual".

"I don't know if I have any specific requirements. Just somebody gentle , who has a wonderful sense of humour and loves to have sex. What more could you ask for?" Harry said.

Harry was involved in a long-term relationship with bandmate Chris Stein in the 1980s, but she has never named any of her female lovers.

Blondie snubbed an offer to participate in Sochi during the Winter Olympics in February because of Russia's anti-gay legislation.

Harry said at the time: "We feel very strongly about these friendships and associations, and don't feel good about participating in a situation where biases and prejudices are paramount."
